Artur PODLESNIY (violin) was born in 1980 in Kharkiv/Ukraine. His first violin teacher was his father and he started at the age of six. He started his professional education at the Russian Academy of Music (Moscow) and continued at Robert Schumann Academy (Düsseldorf) which he graduated from in 2006. Artur Podlesniy is the prize winner of various violin and chamber music competitions, including the P. Vladigerov Violin Competition (Bulgaria), the Shostakovich Competition (Moscow). His career as an orchestra musician began in 2002 at the Düsseldorf Symphoniker. In 2003 he started at the Essen Philarmonic Orchestra. In 2008 he joined Radio Symphony Orchestra Frankfurt am Main as a member of 1st violin section. Since the beginning of the season 2016/17, Artur Podlesniy is the co-principal concermaster at the Frankfurt Museum and Opera Orchestra.
Alongside with his orchestra activity, he gives solo and chamber music concerts on a regular basis. And from the season 2018/19, he is a member of the Haba Quartet (Frankfurt am Main).
